The more I deepen my research into quantum physics, the more indistinguishable it becomes from a spiritual path. The Atomic Theory was by far the best way to explain these and other phenomena. That is a tough question to answer experimentally, because the differences between the models are subtle: to be viable, they have to predict essentially the same quantum phenomena as the very successful Copenhagen interpretation.

To be correct, QM requires that Bohr theory must be 100% incorrect. While some versions of quantum theory are set within in the spacetimes of general relativity, a complete adaptation of quantum theory and Einstein's general theory of relativity remains beyond our grasp. It would have to treat the First World War's effect on the development of science. In a stimulated transition, the energy of the atom may increase—i.e., the atom may absorb a photon from the radiation—or the energy of the atom may decrease, with the emission of a photon, which adds to the energy of the radiation.

The Pauli Exclusion Principle says (correctly) that two identical indistinguishable (fermion) particles cannot be in the same place at the same time. Einstein's view was, we would expect, somewhat different. If the filters are at right angles, the two photons will never be detected together. They can preserve superpositions for no longer than fractions of a second before they collapse in a process known as decoherence.

As most everyone discovered in elementary school, middle school and/or high school, everything that you can see in the physical world is made up of atoms and molecules. Strominger, in 1996, reconciled quantum mechanics and general relativity without making time a victim. This mechanism for sharing gauge boson energy between different forces in the Standard Model would get rid of supersymmetry which is an attempt to get three lines to numerically coincide near the Planck scale. The path integrals don’t mean that the photon goes on all possible paths but as Feynman says, only a “small core of nearby space”. In any case, there is definitely something quite curious and worthy of further contemplation going on within the hallowed halls of physics, particularly within the minds of physicists.

But if quantum physics is asked to describe the motion of an electron in a double slit experiment, it doesn't try to predict the electron's path or wall-hitting spot. Einstein won the Nobel Prize for Physics not for his work on relativity, but for explaining the photoelectric effect. And they claim that the far out idea of extra dimensions may be more down to earth than you'd think. This can be pretty weird too and, as with the WPDR double-slit, it implies that prior to measurement, a particle is able to be in many states at the same time.

For example, the simplest interaction or first Feynman diagram (given by Dirac’s calculation) predicts the magnetic moment of the electron accurately to 3 significant figures, 1.00 Bohr magnetons, and when the first virtual particle correction or second Feynman diagram (Schwinger’s calculation) is included, the accuracy is then 6 significant figures, 1 + 1/(2*Pi*137.036) = 1.00116 Bohr magnetons. It starts from molecule with a size of about 10-7cm to the hypothetical entity of string and membrane, which has a size of only 10-33cm.

It was Erwin Schrodinger who discovered that when frequency f and de Broglie wavelength y were substituted into general wave equations it becomes possible to express energy E and momentum mv (from the above equations) as wave functions - thus a confined particle (e.g. an electron in an atom/molecule) with known energy and momentum functions could be described with a certain wave function. However, the question of what these abstract models say about the underlying nature of the real world has received competing answers.
